SUBJECT: <br />BOULDER COUNTY GHG INVENTORY <br />DATE: <br />JULY 10, 2018 <br />PAGE2OF2 <br />• Explore guidelines favoring energy efficiency in the new Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) Guidelines as potential "waiver criteria" and adding Electric <br />Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) build -out for general or parking waivers. <br />• Apply for a Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) grant to install an electric <br />vehicle charging station (EVSE) at the Recreation Center in 2018. <br />• Partner with Xcel Energy to increase the share of alternative energy with our <br />community. <br />The Boulder County GHG Inventory report provides up to date information on the City's <br />status of GHG emissions in Appendix A of the report, and may help inform the GHG <br />reduction strategies. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />For information only, no fiscal impact. <br />PROGRAM/SUB-PROGRAM IMPACT: <br />This information relates to the performance measure for the sustainability sub -program <br />"Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions per capita from home energy consumption." <br />DISCUSSION/DIRECTION: <br />Staff is seeking feedback from City Council and the following questions may help guide <br />the conversation: <br />• Are there any questions about how the City can use this data to achieve its <br />sustainability goals? <br />• What opportunities for a partnership between the City and County exist to <br />achieve both parties' goals? <br />• Is there any other information that staff can provide? <br />ATTACHMENT(S): <br />1.
