z. a <br />~~`' <br />i~ ~~ r <br />~:~= <br />Open Space Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Wednesday December 10, 2008 <br />Louisville Public Library, Meeting Room <br />951 Spruce Street <br />7:00 PM <br />Call to Order -Chairperson Tom Davinroy called the meeting to order at <br />7:01 pm. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Tom Davinroy, Spencer Guthrie, Larry Crowley, <br />Aaron Grider, Kate LeMere, Truman Bradley, and Bret Harper. <br />Board Members Absent: Linda Smith <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull and Joe Stevens <br />Approval of Agenda -Tom moved to approve the agenda as printed. Truman <br />seconded. The motion was unanimous. <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes -Larry moved to accept the November 12th, <br />2008 minutes as amended. Spencer seconded. The motion was unanimous. <br />Public Comments not on the agenda. <br />Art Phelps resident of Balfour wanted an update on Hecla Lake. Ember said <br />construction acceptance has not gone through yet. There are still some seeding <br />and grade issues. Current work is being done on weed control and the cement <br />base for the bench should be done by the end of the month. The unsafe looking <br />wooden pier/water outlet will be replaced during the next phase of work. <br />Staff Updates -Ember Brignull <br />1. A Coyote on an Erie golf course bit a child. The Department of Wildlife <br />suspects rabies because the child claims to have just been sitting there. <br />2. Blacktailed prairie dogs are being petitioned for listing again as <br />endangered.
