Local Licensing Authority <br />Minutes <br />July 23, 2018 <br />Page 4of4 <br />Lipton moved the Authority approve the transfer of the liquor license for <br />Centennial Wine and Spirits. Machado seconded. All in favor. <br />D. Set Public Hearing and Boundaries of Neighborhood New Hotel and <br />Restaurant Liquor License — Miles Sports Pub, Inc. d/b/a Miles Sports <br />Pub & Grub — 328 McCaslin Blvd. <br />Carlson moved to set the boundaries of the neighborhood as the city limits of the <br />City of Louisville and set the public hearing for Monday, August 27, 2018 at 7:00 <br />PM. Machado seconded. All in favor. <br />E. Conversation with Chief Hayes <br />Chief Hayes said the call load for the police department continues to increase. <br />The staff has been doing a good job of keeping up but the officers are very busy. <br />Police Department Reports <br />A. Incident Report — Coabana — 6/9/2018 <br />This incident involved an employee in the establishment after hours. Authority <br />members decided no further action needed to be taken. <br />B. Incident Report — Down Under — 7/1/2018 <br />This incident involved an employee in the business after hours. Authority <br />members discussed the incident. Carlson moved the Authority write a letter to <br />the owner of Down Under. Machado seconded. All in favor. <br />Secretary's Report <br />Carlson noted the spreadsheet outlining the latest State compliance check was <br />included in the packet. <br />Authority Attorney's Report <br />Carlson noted the State Liquor Enforcement Division is renumbering the code. <br />Authority Comment <br />Machado asked how things have been going at the Street Faire. Chief Hayes <br />stated it had been going well. Sergeant Redard noted he had been working more <br />closely with the volunteers serving alcohol. <br />Adjourn — Lipton moved to adjourn. Carlson seconded. All in favor. The <br />meeting was adjourned at 7:54 p.m. <br />
