<br /> Monday through Fnday, holidays_ excepted. The City Clerk shall at all times
<br /> maintain a reasonable supply of copies of the Code available for purchase by the
<br /> public at a moderate price.
<br /> Section 8. Section 15 16.060 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed and
<br /> reenacted,with amendments,to read as follows:
<br /> Sec. 15.16.060 Violations and Penalties
<br /> It is unlawful for any person,firm,or corporation to erect, construct, enlarge,
<br /> alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, equip, use, occupy or
<br /> maintain any plumbing or cause or permit such work to be done, m violation of the
<br /> provisions of this chapter or the terms of the code adopted or incorporated in this
<br /> chapter,or to otherwise violate or fail to comply with this chapter or such code. Any
<br /> person convicted of a violation of any provision of this chapter or of the provisions
<br /> of the code adopted and incorporated in this chapter shall be subject to the penalty
<br /> provided in section 1.28 010 (Code 1977, § 15 16 050; Ord.No. 1144-1994, §26)
<br /> Section 9. If any portion of this ordinance is held to be invalid for any reason, such
<br /> decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council
<br /> hereby declares that it would have passed this ordmance and each part hereof irrespective of the fact
<br /> that any one part be declared invalid.
<br /> Section 10. Any person who violates any provision of this Ordinance shall be punished
<br /> by a fine of not more than$1,000 or by impnsonment not to exceed one (1) year or both such fine
<br /> and imprisonment. Each day during any portion of which any violation of any provision of this
<br /> ordinance is committed,continued,or permitted by any such person shall be a separate offense.
<br /> Section 11. The repeal or modification of any provision of the Municipal Code of the
<br /> City of Louisville by this ordinance shall not release, extinguish, alter, modify, or change in whole
<br /> or in part any penalty,forfeiture, or liability, either civil or criminal,which shall have been mcurred
<br /> under such provision,and each provision shall be treated and held as still remaining in force for the
<br /> purpose of sustaining any and all proper actions, suits, proceedmgs, and prosecutions for the
<br /> enforcement of the penalty, forfeiture, or liability, as well as for the purpose of sustaining any
<br /> judgment, decree, or order which can or may be rendered, entered, or made in such actions, suits,
<br /> proceedings,or prosecutions.
<br /> Section 12. All other ordmances or portions thereof inconsistent or conflicting with this
<br /> ordmance or any portion hereof are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency or conflict.
