The Romano family consisted of parents Dominic Romano and Maria Romano, who were both <br />born in Italy, and children Carmen (born 1907 in Italy), Vito (born 1914), Packy (born 1917), <br />Louis (born 1925), and Marian (1928-2010). Marian Romano married Fred Leach (1918-1982). <br />Carmen Romano had two notable careers in Louisville. He worked with explosives at a number <br />of local mines. The house was demolished in the 2000s. <br />In 2014, Gary Leach (son of Marian and Fred Leach) donated items from the Romano/Leach <br />family to the Louisville Historical Museum.
