Louisville Historical Museum <br />Dept. of Library & Museum Services <br />City of Louisville, Colorado <br />Date of updated report: October 17, 2017 <br />U Cityoj <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />640 Main St. — Blue Parrot Sign History <br />The following information was collected with respect to the Blue Parrot sign located at 640 <br />Main St. (This report is not intended to be a history of the building at 640 Main.) <br />The sign on each side features the colors of blue, red, and gold with the image of a blue <br />parrot and the words "Blue Parrot" in white across the top and the words "Joe Colacci's <br />Italian Food" in white below. The words "Joe Colacci's" appears in cursive. The blue in the <br />sign echoes the light and medium blue tones of the building. <br />The following photos, taken in 2008 (before the current mural was added), show both sides <br />of the neon sign. <br />1 <br />
