Directories from the early 1940s show that Nestor and Alice Souply were living at 821 McKinley at that <br />time. <br />Sullivan Ownership, 1946-1972 <br />In 1946, Dan and Anna Mae Sullivan purchased 821 McKinley. Records show that their family owned it <br />for twenty-six years. Dan Sullivan was born in Ireland in about 1882, and Anna Mae was also born in <br />Ireland. In 1930, before moving to Louisville, census records show that the worked for the City of <br />Colorado Springs as a blacksmith. In Louisville, he continued to work as a blacksmith. Even as late as the <br />1950s, he had a blacksmith business. It was located just north of what is today the Steinbaugh Pavilion <br />on Front Street. <br />In 1957, the property was transferred to two of the Sullivan sons, C.L Sullivan and Thomas Sullivan. <br />Records indicate that members of the Sullivan family were still living in the house in the 1960s. They sold <br />821 McKinley in 1972. <br />Later Owners <br />Later owners of 821 McKinley were James and Margaret Dodds, Frank and Judith Jackson, Steven and <br />Judy Mathis, John and Sarah Collins, Nancy Pollok, Lonnie and Elizabeth Timora, and Dena De Benedet <br />and Timothy Seeber.
