The following photo of the house is also from the County Assessor card. The card indicates that <br />it may have been taken in about 1950. An addition of 240 square feet had been added, bringing <br />the total square footage to 624. The County website today indicates that the square footage is <br />600. <br />The following image of the ground layout shows the 32 x 12 square foot original building, with <br />the 20 x 12 square foot addition penciled in. Also, the image shows handwriting that says that <br />the addition should be added to the assessment for 1956 and that the addition was "old." This <br />suggests that the addition may have been an older structure that was relocated to this location. <br />,OU ND PLAN SKETCH <br />llllllllllllllllll <br />FRONT <br />Additional handwriting on the front of the card states that in 1956, there was another addition <br />and a bathroom added, with a note that they should be rechecked in 1957 and that they should <br />be added to the assessment for 1958. <br />Eva Duran Arroyas was born in Walsenburg, Colorado in 1922 to parents of Hispanic heritage <br />who had been born in Colorado.
