2015 obituary, she married Edward Arroyas in 1945, following his service in the Army in World
War II. He was born in 1915 to parents born in Mexico and New Mexico who moved to
Louisville before 1930. According to directories, he worked for the railroad. He died in 1997.
According to her obituary, Eva worked at a myriad of careers.
Eva and Edward Arroyas raised their four children at 1436 Cannon. It is believed that Eva
Arroyas was a resident of the house until her death in 2015. County records still list her as the
owner of 1436 Cannon.
The preceding research is based on a review of relevant and available online County property records, census records, oral
history interviews, Louisville directories, and Louisville Historical Museum maps, files, and obituary records.
5
