City Council Finance Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />10/15/18 <br />Page 5 of 8 <br />incorporating color -coding into the report to help quickly identify the status of <br />projects. <br />Member Maloney stated that the Library needs to right -size its expectations and <br />resources. City Manager Balser stated that, across the board, departments have <br />been working to align their budget request with current resource levels, noting that <br />some of the delays are due to bid challenges and supply shortages. <br />The reports and corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the <br />October 15, 2018 Finance Committee Meeting. <br />REVENUE PROJECTION DASHBOARD — PROJECTIONS DATED AUGUST <br />29, 2018 <br />Finance Director Kevin Watson handed out a revised dashboard to the Finance <br />Committee which reflects the latest projections included in the budget packet. <br />Director Watson informed the Committee that this would be the last projection <br />dashboard of the year. <br />Again, Finance Committee Members and staff discussed the need for better <br />estimates for the Golf Course, Recreation Center, and Utility user fees. <br />The reports and corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the <br />October 15, 2018 Finance Committee Meeting. <br />RENEWAL & REPLACEMENT PLANS — RECREATION CENTER & GOLF <br />COURSE <br />Finance Director Kevin Watson presented the updated worksheets to the Finance <br />Committee. Director Watson stated that would be working on the new design to <br />reflect Capital transfers out of the C-I-P Fund to the Recreation Center, the <br />Recreation subsidy based on the 2017 transfer and then inflated, and a full review <br />of the Golf Course budget, as discussed at the October 12th Special Budget <br />Meeting. <br />Finance Committee Chairperson Maloney stated that he would be happy to meet <br />with Director Watson to discuss items further, and requested Director Watson send <br />him a meeting request for later this week. <br />The reports and corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the <br />October 15, 2018 Finance Committee Meeting. <br />IMPACT FEE INFLATOR <br />6 <br />
