Have 7 <br />areas with active <br />odor investigations <br />and required <br />mitigation. <br />2 complaints in early <br />2016 for a property <br />containing multiple <br />marijuana <br />businesses, property <br />annexed by City of <br />Boulder. Since then, <br />no odor complaints. <br />Under County <br />regulations, odor <br />cannot escape the <br />property line. <br />One odor <br />violation. The <br />licensee <br />installed new <br />ventilation <br />equipment to <br />mitigate the <br />problem. <br />Minor issues <br />with odor at <br />production <br />site, <br />cultivations <br />just coming <br />on line so <br />don't have <br />information <br />on those. <br />Security <br />Less frequent issues <br />with security; require <br />all MJ and receipts to <br />be locked overnight <br />in a safe that is <br />affixed to the <br />structure for all <br />license types. <br />Occasionally a <br />licensee will not <br />follow that <br />requirement <br />sometimes resulting <br />in a burglary. Theft <br />from marijuana <br />businesses happen <br />most frequently via <br />employee theft in <br />their experience. <br />Some security <br />issues related to an <br />outdoor grow facility <br />and reports of a <br />dumpster diver. <br />Marijuana <br />businesses are <br />required to report <br />criminal activity to <br />the state, but the <br />state did not share <br />this information with <br />the local licensing <br />authority. Updated <br />regulations to <br />require businesses <br />report criminal <br />activity to the local <br />licensing authority. <br />None. <br />Minor issues <br />with break ins <br />for production <br />sites <br />Size Limit <br />15,000 Sq.
