Call to Order - Secretary Brooke Newell called the meeting to order at 6:32 pm II. Roll call Board Members Present: Bruce Armstrong, Teddy Hart, Riley Miller, Brooke Newell, Kaelan Norgard, Logan Pius, Sophie Russ Board Members Absent: Kaylix McClure, Addison Nakari, Lincoln Roch, Kendall Weideman Staff Members Present: Mandy Perera, Jessica Schwartz III. Approval of Agenda - Agenda was approved by all members. IV. Approval of Minutes - Minutes were approved after noting the need to change the October meeting location from the Rec Center to the Library. V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda — None VI. Visit from Aaron DeJong with the Economic Development Department. Aaron told YAB members about his various duties and job focuses (such as business retention and attracting new businesses) as he works to be a liaison between local businesses and City Hall. He also told us about some of his favorite projects like the new DeLo development and the South Street Underpass. Aaron asked the YAB about the types of places they would like to see in Louisville. VII. Volunteer Projects • November — Community Food Share at the Louisville King Soopers on Saturday, 11/10 from 11:45am-2:00pm. Please check the Sign Up Genius email from Mandy to sign up. Plan to do an alternative volunteer project if you can't attend.
