Xcel PIE summary - Ellie gave a presentation with print outs for the LSAB to follow • Discussed Participation in the Partners in Energy and Renewable Connect. Louisville was in line with most of the cities that participated in Renewable connect. Nederland was the leader at 10% with a door to door signup initiative. • Craig with Xcel was very excited by Louisville progress on getting PIE across the finish line. He also mentioned Excel has some lofty goal of 55% Renewable energy by 2025 as well as shutting down 2 coal power plants outside of Pueblo in the coming years. III. Recap first Sustainability Series event • Four speakers, Eco-cycle, Glass recycling, enviro wag, Al Organics. Each group spoke for 10-15 minutes. 17 RSVP'd online. Any suggestions to garner larger attendance. How do we get the word out? Date needs to finalized prior to the final town calendar in July. We need to finalize earlier for 2019. Create an event on FB. Maybe the new communication position can help. Debbie suggest still using print ads. Posters in local businesses. IV. Process and timeframe for SAP update; aiming for January 2020 to council • Allison suggest to bump this out until April 2020. We will be discussing in detail at our December meeting. V. Review status of 2-year work plan • We have decided to devote the majority of Decembers meeting to reviewing in detail the goals and objectives to present to the city council. LSAB member will independently review the SAP goals for discussion. VI. Discuss November and/or December meeting date changes • We are canceling November's meeting — Holiday schedule and availability by LSAB members being the main obstacles. • We will meet on December 19th 7:55 - 8:00 pm: VII.
