Call to Order <br />Laura called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />2. Roll Call <br />Board Members Present: David Blankinship, Missy Davis, Laura Scott Denton, Peter <br />Gowen, Helen Moshak, Mike Schantz, Tom Neville <br />Board Members Absent: Fiona Garvin <br />City Council Members Present: Jeff Lipton <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull, Nathan Mosley <br />3. Approval of Agenda <br />Peter moved to approve the agenda as written. Helen seconded. The motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />4. Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes <br />Peter moved to approve the minutes as written. Mike seconded. The motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />5. Staff Updates— Ember <br />A. Introduction of Nathan Mosely - Director of Parks, Recreation, and Open Space <br />for the City of Louisville. Formerly of Adams County Open Space. Biggest <br />achievement in Adams: acquisition of Willow Bay along the South Platte ($9M - <br />NRD, GOCO, sales tax). <br />B. Ember: Recent meeting with regional trail partners (Boulder County, Lafayette, <br />Broomfield). Talking about the trail connections OSAB recommended to Council. <br />Discussed Overlook Underpass, 104th Street Connection. Will regrouped on <br />104th St trail alignments at a later date, good group momentum. <br />C. Ember; Boulder County working on regional trail app (grant funded). <br />D. Ember: Re: Coyote Run - On City Council schedule for February 2 to approve <br />construction contract. <br />6. City Council Liaison Update <br />A. During December: Board and Commission Interviews, Appointments <br />B. City Staff has been working on a strategic plan, City Manager's office is <br />implementing the final draft. Requests Ember sends link to the draft to OSAB. <br />C. Working on Council work plan for 2019. Important to establish goals and priorities <br />of Council; avoid distraction and make certain there is enough time allocated to <br />priorities.
