Eliminate. <br />Wayfinding <br />Add Subsection 1, Action 4. Add "Tiger team facilitates Board communication <br />with the planning Department to advocate for a collaborative approach, trail <br />connectivity, and prioritizing wayfinding." <br />Add Subsection 1. Action 5. Add "Develop public outreach and feedback <br />approach for interface with the public." <br />12. Discussion Item: Open Space Zoning <br />Phase 3 of Zoning. Home Rule Charter Mandates that we zone Open Space Property so <br />that a future change of use would need to go to a vote of the people of Louisville. 2011: <br />Created a zoning district. Lake Park discussion is scheduled in 2020 to coincide with <br />Cottonwood Park master planning - it will not be discussed tonight. <br />Walnut Open Space: Board unanimously supports staff recommendation. Peter moved, <br />Tom seconded. Mike supports nature play in this location in the future. <br />Daughenbaugh/Warenbourg: Board unanimously supports staff recommendation. Missy <br />moved, Peter seconded. <br />Coal Creek Trail: Board unanimously supports staff recommendation. Peter moved, Tom <br />seconded. <br />Olson: Board unanimously supports staff recommendation. Red parcel will be evaluated <br />by staff more in the near future. Tom moved, Peter seconded. <br />Dutch Creek: Generally, OSAB is in support of Option A. However, in the event the <br />Dutch Creek Recreation area footprint is not sufficient to meet the recreation needs of <br />the community, OSAB will accept Option B. Moved by Peter, Helen seconded. Board <br />unanimously passed. <br />13. Discussion Item: Senior Natural Resource Management Position <br />Ember shared that this document is just for fun to start a discussion with OSAB about <br />desired qualities, skills, and experience of the future candidate. This document/image <br />will not be used in the recruiting process but themes from this discussion will be included <br />in drafting the job description where applicable. <br />Comments: <br />A. Qualities: "ability to work independently" should be moved higher on the list. <br />B. Counterpoint: leadership and initiative should be stressed. <br />C. Bottom 3 from Skills need to be moved to Qualities <br />D. Range management skills should be stressed. <br />E. Demonstrated taking a project from conception to implementation. <br />F. Interest of diversity: drop male image. <br />G. Passion for field work should be emphasized. <br />H. Skills and experience: creation of baseline data sets/inventory is important. <br />Is this person going to be a player in the educational efforts? Not as their primary <br />focus, but as a specific program expert. <br />J. Masters Level position (or Bachelor's with experience). <br />
