Recreation Advisory Board <br />Minutes <br />1/28/2019 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />Introduction of Board and Staff <br />• Attendees briefly introduced themselves. <br />Designate Posting Locations for Meeting Notices <br />• Discussed where to post notices. <br />o The City of Louisville typically uses City Hall, the library, the police <br />department and the Rec Center. <br />o The golf course was considered, but there is no good posting <br />location there. <br />• Motion to post Recreation Advisory Board meeting notices at City Hall, the <br />library, the police department and the Rec Center by Lisa Norgard. <br />Second by Michele Van Pelt. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Open Government and Ethics Pamphlet <br />• Kathy Martin pointed out the link in the meeting agenda and briefed the <br />board on the requirement for board members to attend open government <br />training every two years. <br />Election of Officers <br />• Lisa Norgard and Michele Van Pelt volunteered to continue as Chair and <br />Vice Chair for the board. No other volunteers or nominees stepped <br />forward. <br />• Audrey DeBarros moved that Lisa Norgard be named Chair and Michele <br />Van Pelt be named Vice Chair for the Recreation Advisory Board for 2019. <br />Seconded by Brett Nickerson. Motion passed unanimously. <br />• Gene Kutscher volunteered to serve as Secretary. Rich Bradfield moved <br />that Gene Kutscher be named Secretary for the Recreation Advisory <br />3 <br />
