It was a misunderstanding of mine, because I thought I was not convicted of anything, because it was all dismissed. The individual history asks for information about convictions, suspended sentences or deferred sentences. I just thought the other two were dismissed and I didn't need to put it down. I could have had my records sealed, but I didn't. It wouldn't have made any difference. What our attorney has told me is that we have denied the application, but you can come back and reapply. There are only two reasons a license is denied, one is if a neighborhood doesn't really need another beer and wine license and we haven't said that. We are denying it based upon your prior deferred sentences, convictions and lack of disclosure. You can come back to the Authority and ask for a liquor license in the furore, if we denied it based on the needs of the neighborhood you would have to wait two years before you could reapply. There is not that requirement under this form of denial. In this evenings meeting there are three authority members here. There are usually five members on the Authority, so you are free to come back in the future and reapply if you think there are needs of the neighborhood and you can convince the Authority that you should have an application.
