"America's Light Bulb Revolution". <br />ii. Deb asked LSAB "What should be the next Question to the <br />council?" <br />8. LSAB Member Updates and Reports <br />i. Mark - Mark was present at the city council meeting last night. They <br />discussed the global committee update. They discussed the <br />elimination of preemptive language. CC4CA. Looking to get a bill to <br />change the constitution. Ashley (new member to global <br />environmental board) recommended that this should be a low <br />priority for the state. Instead they should focus on water <br />conservation and energy consumption. <br />ii. Laura volunteered to be a liaison for recycled Colorado. Caroline <br />Mitchell from Fort Collins sustainability. Fort Collins is investing <br />huge into waste management. Recycling, Composting. anaerobic <br />digester for composting. <br />iii. Marianne — Introducted drawdown.org. Eco challenge. Registration, <br />individual and team. <br />9. Introduction of LSAB Board Members <br />a. Melanie Dubin - Wanted to be an astronaut. A job on an organic farm <br />changed her path to sustainability. Environmental engineering major. <br />Sweden sustainability master's program. Carbon neutral program. Green <br />building consultant. LEED consulting. US green building council. <br />Investments became the next path in New Mexico. <br />b. Allison - Air Force specializing in public health. environmental health, <br />deployment medicine. <br />c. Laura — Announced new position at Recycle Colorado. <br />d. Mark — Became a Board member in 2003 - Community wide recycling <br />sparked his interest. As chair he got the first contract for waste, recycling <br />and compost with Western. <br />e. Seth — Eco-Products. A compostable disposable foodservice company. <br />f. Dan - Environmental engineering. Storm water, dewatering, clean up. <br />Water air soil cleanup. <br />g. Mary Anne - works at CU. Environmental center. engagement, community, <br />students and citizens. <br />h. Katie (Not a board member) - Sustainability specialist. CSU grad. City of <br />Fort Collins as Sustainability assistant. energy consumption on city <br />buildings <br />10. Discussion Item: Two Year Sustainability Action Plan Staff Update. <br />a. Green Business Program Outreach- Laura <br />a. Showed map and chart of all Louisville businesses. <br />b. LSAB members will reach out to 3-5 business each. <br />c.
