Cityoj <br />Im Louisville <br />COLORADO SINCE 1878 <br />B. Discussion regarding design concepts for signage, cohesion with existing <br />signs, location of signs. PPLAB unanimously agreed to move forward with <br />the new design concept. Discussion will continue in joint meeting with <br />OSAB. <br />8. Continued Discussion on the Subdivision Entry Landscape Improvements Capital <br />Improvement Project. <br />A. Ownership of entry properties, maintenance responsibility, missing adjacent <br />property right-of-way code, and design standards were all potential issues <br />that were discussed. Moving forward, the Subcommittee will begin working <br />on a draft landscape improvement approach to then be discussed at the <br />May or June PPLAB meeting. <br />9. Discussion on Ash Tree Mitigation as Part of the Median Landscape Renovation <br />Capital Improvement Project <br />A. Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) found in Boulder in 2013. EAB is responsible for <br />the demise of ash trees in the United States. <br />B. Existing ash trees in medians are primarily on the following boulevards: <br />McCaslin, Via Appia, and Dillon. Discussed ash tree mitigation as part of the <br />median landscape improvement project. Items that were considered were: <br />aesthetics, project opportunities, realistic outcomes, effects on related <br />landscape renovations, level of mitigation, and time frame. <br />C. PPLAB did not make a specific recommendation at this meeting. Members <br />will review and consider best processes moving forward. <br />10. Agenda Items for Next Meeting: Proposed Joint Meeting with the Open Space <br />Advisory Board. <br />A. PPLAB decided unanimously to hold next month's meeting as a joint <br />meeting with OSAB on April 10tn <br />11.
