Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that in July the City of Louisville and the Town of Superior entered into an IGA which is subject to voter approval on November 4. The owners of the 80.1 acres had submitted an application to disconnect, or deannex, that property from the boundaries of Louisville. This ordinance would begin the process to disconnect from the City of Louisville the 80.1 acre parcel of land lying on the south side of U.S. 36 and to the east of McCaslin Boulevard. Sisk moved that Council set out for publication and set the public hearing for November 5, 1997, seconded by Mayer. All in favor.
