e <br /> <br />Authorize Steve Jeffers, Vice Chairperson to sign Order of Findings and <br />Order <br /> <br />Jeffers called for a motion to Authorize the Vice Chairperson to sign Order of Findings and Order. <br /> <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT'S REPORT <br /> <br />NONE. <br /> <br />SECRETARY'S REPORT <br /> <br />Gave an overview of attendance and comments on training sessions. <br /> <br />Since the next scheduled meeting is in two weeks due to holidays, etc., the next meeting may be <br />canceled. <br /> <br />AUTHORITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />Approximately 10 days ago Governor Romer signed a recodification of the liquor code. Department of <br />Revenue is in the process of adopting new regulations. The bill and regulations are generally the <br />recodification of the existing code, there are some substantive changes and we'll be able to give the <br />Authority a better report at the next meeting. As of July 1 there will be a new liquor code. <br /> <br />Another bill that recently passed was giving the Authority more authority to deny a new application or <br />renewal application if the Authority believes that the granting of the license would be in an area where <br />the presence of additional liquor outlet would enhance criminal activity in the area. <br /> <br />AUTHORITY COMMENTS <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Steve JeC~ce ~hairman <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
