Approval of Revised First Amended Employment Contract City <br />Manager Fleming <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />S.J. Duran, 1109 Pine Street, Louisville, CO addressed the live music events at <br />the Steinbaugh Pavilion. He explained the music at a charity event held two <br />weekends ago was loud and lasted until 12 midnight. He asked Council to <br />review the ordinance to limit the hours of the outdoor events at the Steinbaugh <br />Pavilion and be more considerate of the residents who live in the area. <br />Jean Morgan, 1131 Spruce Street, Louisville, CO also addressed the loud music <br />at the Steinbaugh Pavilion two weeks ago. She asked Council to be more <br />considerate of the neighbors when approving these events. She addressed a <br />noxious weed, which is growing along Spruce Street. She brought samples of <br />the weed commonly referred to as a puncture vine. She asked Council to add <br />this weed to the City's noxious weed category. <br />Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy Avenue, Louisville, CO addressed his complaint <br />against Comcast Cable Television, which involves three separate complaints: 1) <br />How Comcast deals with cable programming; 2) How Comcast deals with the <br />PEG Channels and 3) How Comcast deals with Internet services. He reviewed <br />the history of the Internet, which was developed by the Department of Defense in <br />the late 1960's and early 1970's and was originally known as ARPANet. He <br />explained how the Internet works. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Councilor Dalton reported on receiving complaints from constituents about <br />aviation noise. City Manager Fleming sent a message to the Rocky Mountain <br />Airport Manager about the complaints and asked him to redouble his efforts to <br />remind the pilots that flying over neighborhood areas creates a nuisance. He <br />also contacted Superior Town Manager Scott Randall to determine whether the <br />Town of Superior is also receiving clitizen complaints about aviation noise. He <br />noted the FAA controls the activities at airports, but he will continue to work with <br />the airport manager to convey inforrnation to the pilots of the impact of aviation <br />noise. <br />
