City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 18, 2008 <br />Page 2 of 9 <br />APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA <br />City Attorney Light noted an addition to the Consent Agenda: Item 4E -Approval <br />to Conduct a Special Meeting on December 2, 2008 at 6:00 PM for the purpose <br />of Board and Commission Vacancy Interviews. <br />Mayor Sisk called for other changes to consent agenda and hearing none moved <br />the Consent Agenda be approved, seconded by Councilor Yarnell. All in favor. <br />Absent: Councilor Dalton. <br />A. Approval of Bills <br />B. Approval of Minutes (November 3, 2008 and November 10, 2008) <br />C. Award 2008 Louisville Trail Connections Project to Goodland <br />Construction Inc. <br />D. Approval of Amendment No. 2 to Professional Service Agreement <br />for Consulting Services -North Water Treatment Plant Filter <br />Media Replacement <br />E. Approval to Conduct a Special Meeting on December 2, 2008 at <br />6:00 PM for the purpose of Board and Commission Vacancy <br />Interviews <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />Hale Landis, 2572 Evans Avenue, Louisville, CO voiced his opposition to the <br />single trash hauler proposal. He felt the single trash was a bad idea and <br />criticized Council for not informing the residents of their plan. <br />Seth Sovak, 824 Lee Avenue, Louisville, CO asked Council to revise the <br />ordinance and allow residents to raise chickens. He noted many metro area cities <br />are considering ordinances to allow residents to raise chickens. <br />Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy Avenue, Louisville, CO addressed his complaint <br />against Comcast Cable Television. He stated neither the City nor the cable <br />operator is in compliance with Louisville's ordinance. <br />David Greenwald, 1137 Hillside Court, Louisville, CO extended an invitation to a <br />meeting for Transition Louisville, on Saturday, November 22 from 10:30 a.m. to <br />12:00 p.m. at the Louisville Public Library. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk explained the Council postponed the Boards and Commissions <br />appointments because a few applications were misplaced. He apologized to the <br />applicants and stated the interviews for those individuals will take place on <br />
