SUBJECT: <br />OPEN SPACE MANAGEMENT <br />DATE: <br />SEPTEMBER 24, 2019 <br />PAGE2OF4 <br />The proposed goals will be proactive, fiscally responsible, and innovative. To be <br />successful, the City must ensure that the Open Space and Parks Fund, City General <br />Funds and external grants, awards and partnership funding are effectively leveraged <br />and citizen science and volunteer programs resources are expanded in order to capture <br />the full potential of the return on these investments. <br />PROPOSAL: <br />The MOST working group and OSAB propose to brainstorm and collaborate with <br />community members in OSAB monthly meetings and specials events, partner with <br />PPLAB and other advisory boards and neighboring communities, and work closely with <br />staff and the City Council OSAB liaison over the next six months to draft a proposed list <br />of Open Space management priorities and goals to City Council by utilizing the following <br />planning process: <br />Step <br />Lead(s) <br />Partner(s) <br />1.
