City,/L Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />Recreation Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 24, 2019 <br />Recreation Center <br />900 West Via Appia <br />6:30 PM <br />Call to Order — Chairperson Norgard called the meeting to order at 6:35. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Rich Bradfield, Audrey DeBarros, Christin <br />Heuston, Gene Kutscher, Angie Layton, Lisa Norgard, Michele Van Pelt <br />Board Members Absent: Brett Nickerson <br />Staff Members Present: Paul Borth, Kathy Martin, Nathan Mosley <br />Council Members Present: None <br />Public Members Present: Alison Cross, Clare Arguijo-Boehm, Richard <br />Morgan, Lori Prater, Eric Cross, Ginger Cross, Kristen Boehm, Lisa <br />Beauchamp, Neil Anderson, Kathy Brohm, Raili Filion & Scott Filion <br />Approval of Agenda — The agenda was approved, with one change in the order <br />to allow public speakers to voice their views on the topic of swimming pool use. <br />Motion: Norgard <br />Second: Van Pelt <br />The motion passed 6-1, with Bradfield voting against. <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes — The minutes from the July 22, 2019 meeting <br />were approved as written. <br />Motion: Kutscher <br />Second: Norgard <br />Public Comments — Multiple speakers voiced their wish to revisit the <br />Recreation Center Pool's hours and lane use allocations for the Monarch High <br />School swim teams. The hours and allocations had been recommended by staff <br />and then supported by the Recreation Advisory Board after the public comments <br />and meeting last month. Nathan Mosely summarized the current early morning <br />pool schedule.
