City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 19, 2019 <br />Page 4of7 <br />Applicant presentation — None. <br />Public Comments — None. <br />Councilmember Lipton moved to approve Resolution No. 49, Series 2019, Fahey <br />seconded. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Maloney added a friendly amendment that the resolution be approved as <br />amended by the copy presented on the dais. Motioner and seconder agreed. <br />Voice vote all in favor. <br />Councilmember Lipton moved to approve Resolution No. 50, Series 2019, the grant; <br />Councilmember Dickinson seconded. <br />Mayor Stolzmann closed the public hearing. <br />Vote: Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote. <br />ELECTION OF MAYOR PRO TEM <br />Mayor Stolzmann stated every two years the Council elects the Mayor Pro Tem. <br />Councilmember Lipton expressed his appreciation to Council for the opportunity to serve <br />as Pro Tem for the last four years. He feels it should be rotated periodically. He <br />nominated Councilmember Maloney as Mayor Pro Tem. <br />Councilmember Maloney accepted the nomination. There were no other nominations. <br />Voice vote: all in favor. <br />DISCUSSION/DIRECTION/ACTION — CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS <br />Mayor Stolzmann made the following assignments for Council: <br />• City Council Finance Committee - Maloney (chair), Leh, Lipton <br />• City Council Utility Committee - Lipton (chair), Maloney, Fahey <br />• City Council Legal Review Committee - Leh (chair), Fahey, Ward 3 <br />• Revitalization Commission - Lipton <br />• Boulder County Consortium of Cities - Dickinson, Ward 3 <br />• Denver Regional Council of Governments - Stolzmann (primary) <br />Fahey (alternate) <br />• Colorado Communities for Climate Action (CC4CA) - Fahey <br />• Superior/Louisville Joint Interest Committee - Dickinson, Ward 3 <br />• Lafayette/Louisville Joint Interest Committee - Dickinson, Ward 3 <br />
