6. <br /> Sept, 3, 1935 The communication of the State engineer was <br /> read before the board stating that he was returning the meter that <br /> was to be installed at Mamouth Reservoir by him, but the reservoir <br /> now being condemned and that the meter could could not be installed <br /> until the reservoir eeeelrepaired the wetter was discussed and at <br /> length it was decided to store the meter and place the communication <br /> on file <br /> Dee. 7, 1937 Dr. Basher came before the board thanking them <br /> for signing a protest to the department of Interior to stop converting <br /> water on the western slope to the north. He then a sk if the board <br /> was considering the repairing of amouth Reservoir the Mayor then <br /> wxplained that the town was under a great expense in fixing up the <br /> filter and that the board was discouraged because they haven't <br /> recieved any water till yet from the layout, The Mayor also told <br /> him that Hesmelhawk told the Affolter Affolter that he 'd <br /> come any time and go over the eomouth " eservoir location with the <br /> Board. So Mayor Jenkins attorney Newrock and Moffitt went to the <br /> State engineers office and Hesrnalhowk being out word was left for <br /> led= to come out and we would go up' to the Mamouth Reservoir and go <br /> over it and check out the dam and the cost of repairing it. He <br /> never came out. . Dr. Bashor then ask if the board tha) ught it <br /> right for them to have Hokea.45.hawk check up the cost and to how it <br /> could be repaired. But it being to late in the year so that there <br /> wouldn' t be an chance to go up before spring. The matter was <br /> discussed and at length itawes decided to write to Dr. Bashor and <br /> have him get in touch with the state eneineers office and have him <br /> get the man that was familiar with the dam and go up 'and check up <br /> on Mamouth reservoir as to how it could be repaired and the cost <br /> when the weather permits. <br /> June 2ndp 1936 The letter of W. H. Ehishor pertaining to all <br /> • prospective water seems out of the Colorado River Basin of a general <br /> adjudication proceeding in water District 51 Grand County. Such <br /> bearings are to start June 0th at Hot Sulphur Springs was read before <br /> the board, It was then moved by Rizzi seconded by Ferrari and carried <br /> that the correspondence of Dr. Bashor be accepted and the letter <br /> turned over to the town attorney. <br /> Pauly 7D 1939 A resolution of the ilown of Louisville, Boulder <br /> County, Colorado providing for the execution of a certain contract <br /> relating to the carriage of water belonging to the Town of Louisville <br /> and which contract is between the Farmers Reservoir and Irrigation <br /> Company, The 'South Boulder and Coal Creek Irrigating Ditch Cornoany <br /> and the Town of Louisville was read to the Board. Motion by Rizzi <br /> seconded by Jai )es to pass and roll call Vote. All voted ayes and <br /> the mayor then declared the resolution adopted. A contract relating <br /> to the carriage bf waters belonging to the Town of Louisville was <br /> read to the Board. On a motion by Varleyeeconded by Porta bo enter <br /> into a contract by and between The Farmers Reservoir and Irrigation <br /> Company, The South Boulder and Coal Creek Irrigation Ditch Company <br /> and The Town of Louisville. The mayor called for a roll call vote. <br /> AU members voted ayes. <br /> July 11, 1939 After some discussion on the change of the <br /> point of diversion of the water a motion by Rizzi seconded by Varley <br /> to have the town attorney return the contract between the Farmers <br /> Reservoir and Irrigation Company, The South Boulder and Coal Creek <br /> Irrigation Ditch Company and the Town of Louisville to the Board <br /> until an understanding between the parties involved is reached. <br /> Carried <br />
