Section 27. If any section, paragraph, sentence , clause , phrase <br /> or part hereof of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid, <br /> such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining <br /> portions of this ordinance. The Board of Trustees of the Town <br /> of Louisville hereby declares that it would have passed this Or- <br /> dinance and each section, paragraph, clause , sentence or phrase <br /> thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more of the <br /> other sections, paragraphs, clauses , sentences or .phrases or parts <br /> hereof be declared invalid. <br /> Section 28. PENALTY. <br /> Any driver who shall violate' any of the provisions of this ordin- <br /> ance, shall upon conviction be fined in any sum not less than $1. <br /> One Dollar nor more than $300.00 Three Hundred Dollars or impris <br /> oned for not to exceed ninety days , or both such fine and impris— <br /> onment may be imposed in the discretion of the Police Magistrate. <br /> Section 29. REPEAL. <br /> Ordinance No. 72, being an Ordinance Entitled: "An Ordinance re- <br /> lating to the Use of Automobiles and Other Vehicles" Passed on <br /> the 5th day of July, 1910; and Ordinance No. 82, being an Ordin- <br /> ance Entitled "An Ordinance Amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. <br /> 72, Entitled: An Ordinance Relating to the Use of Automobiles, <br /> and Other Vehicles , Passed July 5th, 1910, " Passed July 6th, 1911 <br /> and Ordinance No. 109 , being an Ordinance Entitled:AA Ordinance <br /> ' to Provide for the placing of Traffic signs upon the streets and <br /> alleys of Town of Louisville ; and to provide a penalty' for the <br /> violation thereof and to repeal ordinances or parts of ordinan- <br /> ces in conflict therewith "Passed the 4th Day of September, 1917; <br /> and Ordinance No. 125, being an Ordinance Entitled: a'An Ordinance <br /> Concerning The Driving of Motor Vehicles , Without A Muffler, With <br /> Cut-Out Open and Making of Undue and False Alarms `.iith Horns, <br /> Sirens, and Other Warning Devices on Motor Vehicles , and Prov- <br /> iding a Penalty for Conviction Thereof" Passed the 3rd day Aug- <br /> ust , 1920, are each and all hereby repealed. <br /> Section 30. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict <br /> herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 31. This Ordinance and each and every part thereof are <br /> hereby declared t'o be necessary for the public peace, health and <br /> 'safety of the To'n of Louisville and of the inhabitants thereof. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> N.
