ORDINANCE--NO. 186 <br /> I�AA'N ORDINANCE CONCERNING LICENSES �ANDLSTO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 144 <br /> EFIB � OPAi�R0I3D�iv vCEIHNE: Z41N `I i6LANCv�TCONUER IRG�'C�I8EvsES" <br /> AND REPEAL ORDINANCE ENTITLED: ' AN ORDIN ANCE IN RELATING TO LICENSES' ' <br /> PASSED JULY 1ST, 1892" AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE- <br /> WITH PASSED NOVEMBER 21ST, 1892, SAME ORDINANCE BEING ORDINANCE NUMBER <br /> 7, CHAPTER XV OF THE REVISED ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOUISVILLE, 1906 <br /> AND TO REPEAL ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE- <br /> _ WITH PASSED THE 5TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1914, ADOPTED ON THE 12TH DAY OF <br /> MARCH, 1925. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF LOUISVILLE, <br /> BOULDER COUNTY, COLORADO. <br /> SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 144 "An Ordinance concerning licenses" <br /> and to amend Sections 24 and 25 of an Ordinance entitled: t°A.n Ordin- <br /> ance in relation to licenses" passed July 1st , 1882 and repealing all <br /> Ordinances in conflict herewith passed November 21st , 1892 same Ordin- <br /> ance being Ordinance No. 7, Chapter XV, of the Revised Ordinance of <br /> the Town of Louisville, 1906 and to repeal all Ordinances or parts of <br /> Ordinances in conflict herewith, passed the 5th day of December, 1914, <br /> adopted on the 12th day of March, 1925 is hereby further amended as <br /> follows: <br /> SECTION 24. No person, firm, or corporation shall in this Town carry <br /> on the business of ( al keeper or manager for gain or hire of any bill- <br /> iard table, pool, bagatelle pigeon-hole table shuffle board or any <br /> table or device on or by which games are played with balls, or (b ) carry <br /> on, operate or conduct any place of business, amusement or entertain- <br /> ment herein tables or other instrumentalities are kept or provided for <br /> the playing of cards or similar games whether for gain or hire or not <br /> without first having obtained a licenses therefore as herein provided. <br /> SECTION 25. Licenses may be issued by the Town Clerk for the period of <br /> one year, dating from issue to any applicant, for the carrying on or <br /> permitting the things mentioned in clause ( al of the foregoing section <br /> upon payment to him the sum taf Twenty Dollars fdOr such period, pprovided <br /> that if more t an one of the tables, games, or evices mentione in <br /> said clause (a) shall be kept by such applicant for the purpose or pur- <br /> poses mentioned in clause (a) there shall be paid by the applicant for <br /> each such additional table, game or device the sum of Five Dollars per <br /> year, payable in advance. Licenses may be issued by the Tmwn Clerk for <br /> the period of one year, dating from issue to any applicant for the <br /> carrying on, operating or conducting a place of business, amusement or <br /> entertainment described in clause (b) of the foregoing section, upon <br /> the payment to him of the sum of Five Dollars for such period, payable <br /> in advance at the time of issuance. <br /> SUBSECTION 2. No person, firm or corporation holding a license under <br /> the foregoing sections shall carry on or permit in his, their or its <br /> place of business as to which any such license has been issued, the <br /> selling of any intoxiating liquor or any gambling of any kind or permit <br />
