STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff's findings are in support of the Floodplain Permit application. The applicant has provided <br /> sufficient information to Staff that the proposal would comply with the applicable items in <br /> Section 17.56.160 A-F. <br /> Staff recommends approval of the Floodplain Development Permit under review to allow for the <br /> development of a storage facility at 1301 Empire Road, with the following condition. <br /> 1. The applicant must complete a FEMA Elevation Certificate(EC) and an approved copy shall <br /> be forwarded to the Planning Department upon completion of the work approved by the <br /> Board of Adjustment,prior to Certificate of Occupancy. <br /> BOARD ACTION: <br /> The Board may approve(with or without condition or modification), disapprove or continue the <br /> application to a future meeting for additional consideration. The Board needs to find that all <br /> criteria, insofar as applicable, have been met in order to grant a Floodplain Development Permit. <br /> The Board should adopt motions for the request, and establish findings for said decisions in the <br /> public record, either through reference to the applicant's or staff's findings in the existing written <br /> record or through additional Board findings, as expressed during the public hearing. <br /> 5 <br />
