Renewal Application -Jalisco Dos Amigos, Inc. d/b/a Casa Alegre - Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License - 1006 Pine Street Rommelfanger called for any changes to the consent agenda. Wilson moved the consent agenda be approved. Mulvahill seconded. Roll Call Vote: Rommelfanger -yes, Wilson -yes, Gunning -yes, Mulvahill -yes and Lipton - yes. Consent agenda approved. Authority Business A. Show Cause Hearing -The Back Room Brewery, Inc. d/b/a The Back Room -Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License - 328 S. McCaslin Blvd. - 11/19/07 Incident Chairperson Rommelfanger opened the show cause hearing. Stefan Fredricksmeyer, Special Prosecutor for the Louisville Local Licensing Authority, and Thomas Newman, owner of The Back Room, introduced them selves to the Authority and confirmed they were ready to proceed. Chairperson Rommelfanger made the Show Cause Order and Notice of Hearing a part of the record of the hearing. Attorney Fredricksmeyer requested the witnesses be sequestered during the testimony. Mr. Newman agreed to the sequestration. Video surveillance from the evening was entered into evidence and shown to the Authority. Attorney Fredricksmeyer pointed out the time during the incident when he believed the bartender should have called the police. Fredericksmeyercatled his first witness, Officer Benjamin Redard, patrol officer with the Louisville Police Department. He was sworn in and gave testimony to being called to a report of a fight in a parking lot near the Back Room on November 19, 2007. He interviewed Christian Zerr who observed two parties shoving one another inside the bar and heard some taunting after the shoving incident. Mr. Zerr stated the same two parties were involved in the fight in the parking lot. Officer Joshua Bonafede was sworn in and testified he was dispatched to a parking lot disturbance near the Back Room. He testified it took some time to get everyone calmed down. He interviewed some of the persons involved in the fight.
