Wilson moved the <br />consent agenda be approved. Mulvahill seconded. Roll Call Vote: <br />Rommelfanger -yes, Wilson -yes, Gunning -yes, Mulvahill -yes and Lipton - <br />yes. Consent agenda approved. <br />Authority Business <br />A. Show Cause Hearing -The Back Room Brewery, Inc. d/b/a The Back <br />Room -Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License - 328 S. McCaslin Blvd. <br />- 11/19/07 Incident <br />Chairperson Rommelfanger opened the show cause hearing. Stefan <br />Fredricksmeyer, Special Prosecutor for the Louisville Local Licensing Authority, <br />and Thomas Newman, owner of The Back Room, introduced them selves to the <br />Authority and confirmed they were ready to proceed. <br />Chairperson Rommelfanger made the Show Cause Order and Notice of Hearing <br />a part of the record of the hearing. <br />Attorney Fredricksmeyer requested the witnesses be sequestered during the <br />testimony. Mr. Newman agreed to the sequestration. <br />Video surveillance from the evening was entered into evidence and shown to the <br />Authority. Attorney Fredricksmeyer pointed out the time during the incident when <br />he believed the bartender should have called the police. <br />Fredericksmeyercatled his first witness, Officer Benjamin Redard, patrol officer <br />with the Louisville Police Department. He was sworn in and gave testimony to <br />being called to a report of a fight in a parking lot near the Back Room on <br />November 19, 2007. He interviewed Christian Zerr who observed two parties <br />shoving one another inside the bar and heard some taunting after the shoving <br />incident. Mr. Zerr stated the same two parties were involved in the fight in the <br />parking lot. <br />Officer Joshua Bonafede was sworn in and testified he was dispatched to a <br />parking lot disturbance near the Back Room. He testified it took some time to get <br />everyone calmed down. He interviewed some of the persons involved in the fight. <br />
