RESOLUTION NO. 56 <br />SERIES 2019 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH <br />BOULDER COUNTY FOR BUS STOP FUNDING <br />WHEREAS, there has been proposed an intergovernmental agreement under which <br />Boulder County would provide financial support for the City's design and construction of enhanced <br />bus stops for use by the public on property owned by the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council fmds that the proposed intergovernmental agreement is in the <br />best interests of the City and its citizens; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. The Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Louisville and the <br />County of Boulder ("Agreement") for bus stop funding is hereby approved in substantially the same <br />form of such Agreement that accompanies this Resolution. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the Agreement, <br />and the Mayor is hereby further authorized to negotiate and approve such revisions to the <br />Agreement as the Mayor determines are necessary or desirable for the protection of the City, so long <br />as the essential terms and conditions of the Agreement are not altered. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of December, 2019. <br />cjeA—rem--‘ <br />Ashley Sto 3 ann, Mayor <br />Resolution No. 56, Series 2019 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
