City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />January 14, 2020 <br />Page 4 of 6 <br />Members agreed to the proposal and will add some Q4 meetings for Court and Attorney <br />evaluations. <br />10. City Council Work. Plan Preparation —1 Regular Meeting (1 Regular Meeting in <br />2021). High Priority. <br />All agreed to the proposed schedule and priority. <br />11. Board & Commission Interviews & Appointments —1-2 Regular Meetings. High <br />Priority. <br />All agreed to the proposed schedule and priority. <br />12. Board & Commission Annual Updates — Approximately 7 Study Sessions. High <br />Priority. <br />All agreed to the proposed schedule and priority. <br />13. Marijuana Cultivation — 2 Regular Meetings. High Priority. <br />All agreed to the proposed schedule and priority. <br />14. Water, Sewer, and Stormwater Rates —1 Regular Meeting. High Priority. <br />All agreed to the proposed schedule and priority. <br />15. Cottonwood Park Master Plan Update — 2 Regular Meetings to approve the task <br />force; 2 Study Sessions (1 update during the process and the final plan update). <br />Potential for memo updates along the way. Medium Priority. <br />All agreed to the proposed schedule and priority. <br />16. Review of Integrated Weed Management Plan —1-2 Study Sessions to review and <br />provide feedback on advisory board and staff recommendations. 1 Regular Meeting to <br />approve the plan. Medium Priority. <br />Mayor Stolzmann stated this is only to address weeds on city -owned property (not private <br />property) and it needs to be addressed early in the year for use this weed season. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Maloney and Councilmember Lipton felt it would be better to take some <br />time for the process to have a better outcome and get a better policy. <br />City Manager Balser noted whatever decision is made a communications plan will be <br />required to reset people's expectations. <br />
