Call to Order. A quorum was present and Board President Gurganus called the meeting to order at <br />about 6:30 pm. <br />II. Approval of Agenda: The agenda was approved by general consent. <br />IV. Approval of previous minutes: The minutes from September 12 were approved by general consent. <br />V. Public Comments: There were no public comments. <br />VI. Trustee Informational Comments on Pertinent Items Not on the Agenda: President Gurganus met <br />with Ashley Stoltzman, the mayor-elect. President Gurganus learned that a liasons from the City <br />Council would no longer be regularly attending the meetings of City Boards and Commissions. <br />Instead Boards and Commissions would be expected to make an annual presentation to the City <br />Council. The members of the LBOT had a short debate about the pros and cons of this change. <br />VII. New Business <br />A. Library Director Nemechek presented a report on the Library Key Performance Indicators (KPI). <br /> <br />B. President Gurganus reported on her attendance at the Colorado Assocation of Libraries <br />Conference (CALCON). A major take-away for her was the importance of citizen participation <br />in the 2020 census because its result controls the distribution of some federal spending. Another
