Boulder Road. <br /> <br />Do <br /> <br />Renewal Application -Dixon's Kitchens, Inc. d/b/a Colacci's Restaurant - Hotel & <br />Restaurant License - 816 Main Street. <br /> <br />AUTHORITY BUSINESS <br /> <br />Show Cause Hearing - Gentleman Jim's Inc., d/b/a Gentleman Jim's Bar & Grill - Hotel <br />& Restaurant License - 330 South McCaslin Blvd. <br /> <br />Chairperson Jeff.ers called the Show Cause Hearing to Order. The public hearing to show cause why the <br />liquor license held by Gentleman Jim's, Inc. d/b/a Gentleman Jim's Bar & Grill, should not be suspended <br />or revoked for alleged violations of one or more provisions of the Colorado Liquor Code and Liquor <br />Code Regulations and the Louisville Municipal Code. The chairperson made a part of the record of the <br />hearing the Show Cause Order, including exhibits, and the other materials contained in the Authority <br />packets, and called for preliminary matters. <br /> <br />Present at the proceedings were Bruce Joss and Steven Barnett, Special Prosecutors appointed by the <br />Authority, and Leonard Berenato, attorney representing the Licensee. Mr~ Joss stated that they have <br />reached a settlement disposition in the two incidents. One incident occurred on May 30, 1999, which <br />allegedly involved serving underage persons, and is set for October 25, 1999. The second incident, which <br />occurred on July 17, 1999, allegedly involved serving two intoxicated persons, and is set for a hearing <br />before the Authority this evening. The proposed settlement addresses both of those incidents and is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />In the July 17, 1999 incident, the licensee has agreed to a seven day suspension, with three of those days <br />served, one of those three days has to be a Friday or Saturday night, and the remaining four days will be <br />held in abeyance for a period of one year. Pursuant to this settlement and disposition agreement, the <br />heating and complaint on the Show Cause Heating incident, scheduled for October 25, 1999 will be <br />dismissed. Mr. Joss also stated that disposition has been reached in all the pending matters in the <br />municipal court. <br /> <br />The was considerable discussion from the Authority relative to previous stipulations and some members <br />felt that there should be more time served.
