BYLAWS OF <br />THE LOUISVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />ARTICLE I <br />The Planning Commission <br />Section 1. Name of the Planning Commission. The name of the body shall be the "Louisville <br />Planning Commission". <br />Section 2. Office of the Planning Commission. The office of the Planning Commission shall <br />be at City Hall in the City of Louisville and at such other place as the Planning Commission <br />may designate from time to time. <br />ARTICLE II <br />Members and Officers <br />Section 1. Number of Planning Commission Members. The Louisville Planning <br />Commission shall consist of seven members. The members shall be appointed as set forth in <br />Section 2.60.020 of the Louisville Municipal Code. <br />Section 2. Officers. The officers of the Planning Commission shall be a Chair, Vice -Chair <br />and Secretary. These officers shall be elected annually during the first regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission in the month of January or during the first meeting of the Planning <br />Commission after the effective date of the appointment of new members of the Planning <br />Commission. The Chair shall be eligible for re-election. <br />Section 3. Chair and Vice -Chair. The Chair shall preside at all meetings and public hearings <br />of the Planning Commission. The Chair shall decide all points of order or procedure and shall <br />certify plans, reports, recommendations and resolutions of the Planning Commission. The <br />Vice -Chair shall assume these duties in the Chair's absence. <br />ARTICLE III <br />Meetings <br />Section 1. Regular Meetings. Regular meetings of the Louisville Planning Commission shall <br />be held on the second Thursday of each month at 630 PM. Absence from three regular or special consecutive meetings without good reason shall <br />be cause for removal from the Planning Commission. <br />Section 2. Quorum. A quorum shall consist of a majority of the members of the Planning <br />Commission. When a quorum is in attendance, action may be taken by the Planning <br />
