Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />FEBRUARY 12, 2009 <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />Michael Menaker, 1827 W. Chokecherry Dr. stated there are similar poles <br />already located in Louisville. <br />Staff and Applicant Summary and Recommendation: <br />No additional comments. <br />Public Hearing Closed Commission Comments: <br />Lipton closed the public hearing and requested board discussion. <br />Sheets stated her support for the proposal. <br />Tengler stated the site should be considered temporary and have the applicant <br />come back when the buildings are completed. <br />Pritchard stated that he believes ConocoPhillips does not want the cell tower on <br />the property. He stated the site should only be available to Sprint Nextel and not <br />made available to other cell companies. <br />Lipton stated he would like to have additional information as to why this location <br />is the best. <br />Loo stated that one more pole on the site will not make an impact on the <br />aesthetics. <br />Sheets agreed with Loo and stated an SRU can be brought back to the board at <br />another time if the board felt it was necessary. <br />Russell agreed with Loo. <br />Roll CaII Vote: <br />Tengler moved and Pritchard seconded a motion to approve Resolution No. 02, <br />Series 2009 a SRU request to allow for the placement of an Alternative Tower <br />Structure (ATS) CMRS facility on property owned by ConocoPhillips. <br />Lipton offered a friendly amendment to add the words "temporary placement" in <br />the title. <br />Amendment was accepted byTengler and Pritchard. <br />Name <br />Vote <br />Jeff Lipton <br />No <br />Chris Pritchard <br />Yes <br />Susan S.
