Attachment A
Email Exchange between Mayor Sisk and Director Elizabeth Baker, April 21, 2008;
Dear Mayor Sisk,
I am writing as the director of a new school coming to the city of Louisville. Our school is
called The Patchwork School and will be accepting children ages 3-8 for Fall of 2008. We
have been operating out of a location in Broomfield, but are very excited to be officially
opening our doors in Louisville. We will be located on the Main St. of Louisville, number
1428.
I would like to personally invite you to cut the ribbon at our grand opening ceremony on
Saturday, July 26th, 2008. It will most likely happen at 10:30 am, but exact times are still
being decided. It would be an honor to have your participation at our event, since we wish
to be very involved with the community of Louisville.
For our grand opening, we are also partnering with local artists from the East Boulder County
area and beyond, as a way to fundraise and support local artists at the same time.
Please visit our website to get a better sense of our school's philosophy and mission. I look
forward to meeting you.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Baker, Executive Director
Mayor Sisks' Reply:
Ms. Baker- Let me officially welcome The Patchwork School to Louisville. This is very exciting
to have yet another new school choose our City. I will be out of town on vacation the last
week in July, but please contact our Mayor Pro Tem, Sheri Marsella . I am confident that her
grace and vivaciousness will be very well received and undoubtedly better than I could
project. My best wishes -Chuck Sisk Mayor
Email Exchange Between Sheri Marsella and Elizabeth Baker, April 22, 2008:
Sheri Marsella,
As you probably saw in the email from Mayor Sisk, we are a new school coming to Louisville
