Sisk agreed with Lathrop due to the disproportionate amount of money that would come to <br />Louisville. He felt Council should not take a position. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that Guide the Ride is a very expensive proposal that benefits only about 2% of the <br />people and does nothing to solve the traffic problem. He was concerned about a ballot initiative that <br />did not generate out of the State Legislature. Ballot initiatives are generally put forward by special <br />interest groups of one kind or another. He got a letter from the highway building industry telling how <br />good this is. He preferred not taking a position. Louisville and Broomfield Council representatives will <br />be meeting soon on these items. <br /> <br />Sisk informed Council he will be attending a meeting at the Boulder Valley Educational Department <br />to name the new high school in Louisville.
