There was extensive discussion on the 16'x 12' patio area, fencing and property boundaries.
Chairperson Myers questioned whether the patio area had previously been included in the licensed
premises and approved by the Authority. Members requested the Authority Secretary research
the records of the previous owner to determine the boundary of the licensed premises.

Lipton asked Mr. Pasquini to describe the area between the patio and the building and the
walkway between his and the neighboring building. Mr. Pasquini stated that there is a ramp that
leads from the back door to the alleyway and that the area between the building and the patio is a
walkway leading north of the patio to a walkway that runs between the buildings. Evans stated
that a gate or fence installed between the two buildings would help control access to the patio.

Brief discussion ensued as to the ownership of the property between the building and the patio
area. Chairperson Myers asked Mr. Pasquini if he had received a copy of a plat or diagram
indicating property dimensions when the property was purchased. Mr. Pasquini stated that a
survey had been done prior to the purchase. Chairperson Myers requested a copy of the survey
be provided to the Authority.

Jeffers questioned ifa certificate of good standing was required in the name of Pasquini's
Louisville. Authority Attorney Kathleen Kelly advised that since Pasquini's Louisville is a newly
formed corporation, and the Articles of Incorporation only filed on December 14, 1999, a
certificate of good standing was not required.

Chairperson Myers identified item III, Proof of Property Possession, on the Application Checklist
should be changed from (A) to (B).

Mr. Pasquini was asked to clarify question (30) and (31) on the Individual History Record. Mr.
Pasquini stated that he misunderstood the question and clarified that the total purchase price was
$498,000 and that in addition, he has invested an additional $100,000 as itemized in question
(31). The loan for the purchase price is with Matrix Capital Bank. The Authority requested a
copy be provided.

Member Lipton identified item (19), date of birth, on the License Application should be changed
from 3/31/00 to 3/31/66 as reflected in the remaining document.

Jeffers asked Mr. Pasquini to describe his experience in liquor sales, staff training and
management.

Mr. Pasquini stated that he has been the general manager for Pasquini's Pizzeria in Denver since
1986 and has been responsible for (17) employees per shift at that location. Mr. Pasquini stated
that Pasquini's Pizzeria obtained a liquor license in 1989 and since that time he has been
responsible for liquor sales and training of bartenders and staff.

Jeffers asked what methods are used to train staff on liquor codes and serving criteria. Mr.
Pasquini explained that a prepared handbook is given to all employees upon hire. He stated that
an employee would be terminated if any person under the age of thirty were served and not
carded. Mr. Pasquini stated that they have had no "selling to a minor" violations since the
inception of their liquor license.

4
