Moline seconded. Roll call vote. Approved unanimously. <br />Coal Creek Station — A request for revisions to the approved Final Plat and Final PUD <br />• Applicant and Representative: Coal Creek Station Properties, LLC <br />• Case Manager: Kristin Dean, Principal Planner <br />Moline recused himself, explaining that Boulder County Parks and Open Space where he works <br />has interests in the subdivision. <br />Rice recused himself, explaining that he had Gary Brothers, principal architect at BVZ <br />Architects, under contract as an architect. <br />Hsu stated that given the two recusals and Commissioner Williams' illness, the Commission did <br />not have quorum for the issue. <br />Hoefner made a motion to continue the item to next meeting on August 9t" at 6:30 p.m. Howe <br />seconded the motion. Passed unanimously. Moline and Rice abstained. <br />Zuccaro stated that staff would send out an email to confirm attendance at the next meeting. <br />Wireless Code Update — A request for consideration of an ordinance approving <br />amendments to the Louisville Municipal Code regarding wireless facilities. <br />• Applicant and Representative: City of Louisville <br />• Case Manager: Lisa Ritchie, Associate Planner <br />Noticed published in the Boulder Daily Camera on June 24, 2018 and at all other required <br />postings on June 22nd, 2018. <br />Ritchie defined wireless facilities, which are owned by private providers. They can be located on <br />right-of-way or private property. Towers can be mounted on walls, roofs, or "alternative" <br />locations such as church steeples. Small -cell facilities are intended to fill gaps in the network. <br />Federal regulations require the City to address these types of wireless facilities, which they are <br />required to allow in the right-of-way. <br />The Amendment will include new language to reflect the City's desire to: <br />- Accommodate wireless facilities <br />- Minimize impacts to the community <br />- Encourage colocation <br />- Encourage providers to provide services to the city quickly, effectively and efficiently. <br />Hoefner asked about traditional cell towers. <br />Ritchie clarified that they required a public hearing and did not have an administrative review <br />option. <br />Zuccaro stated that small -cell towers were typically on existing infrastructure like light or utility <br />poles. The language in the code requires evidence of a need for small -cell towers to bolster <br />networks. <br />Hoefner asked if cell towers had to be approved more quickly than other types of structures. <br />
