Future signs will comply with IDDSG. <br />Commission Questions of Staff. <br />Rice asks about parking. Can they add spaces without any new process? <br />Scott answers yes. <br />Applicant Presentation: <br />Robert Van Pelt, RVP Architecture, 4141 Arapahoe Avenue, Boulder, CO. <br />Boulder Amplifiers representatives not present. Van Pelt has no formal presentation but <br />will answer questions. Submits material board, motion entered by Moline, seconded by <br />Rice, passed by voice vote. Building is block building with two tones of gray with <br />aggregate colors. Main area accentuated with red roof and a pair of awnings over <br />secondary entrances. There is siding to bridge the two mass elements of building. <br />Boulder Amplifiers is currently located in Boulder, have been in business approximately <br />30 years, make high end stereophonic audiophile amplifiers. They need additional <br />space to grow and wish to build in the CTC. The building is set back for two reasons: <br />the building is set on the highest site and it does reserve room for expansion. <br />Commission Questions of Applicant: <br />Moline asks about distinction between public and nonpublic areas. <br />Van Pelt answers building is set 75 feet back.
