2020 INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS <br />The City's Engineering Team have continued to work <br />with contractors on the City's 2020 infrastructure proj- <br />ects, including the SH42 Underpass, the Short Street <br />Project, and the 2020 Concrete and Pavement Recon- <br />struction and Resurfacing Project. <br />The planned investment in Pine Street continues with <br />work underway to complete the new bikes lanes and <br />improvements to crossings, curb ramps, medians, <br />pedestrian refuges, and bus stops. <br />Residents directly affected by Concrete and Pavement <br />Reconstruction and Resurfacing were sent a notice in <br />April. Visit LouisviIleCO.gov/Construction to find out <br />more about the City's construction projects, including <br />maps and weekly updates. For any questions, please <br />contact Public Works by email Pworks@LouisvilleCO. <br />gov or phone 303.335.4608 to be put in touch with a <br />project manager. <br />REPUBLIC CURBSIDE EVENTS <br />Due to the changing nature of events and services as <br />a result of COVID-19, Republic customers are asked to <br />check that scheduled curbside events are going ahead <br />before leaving any items out for collection. <br />Residents can check the City's Calendar at <br />LouisvilleCO.gov/Calendar or call Republic Customer <br />Service for Louisville on 303.286.5400 for the latest <br />information about curbside events. <br />The next curbside event for Republic customers is the <br />Bulk Curbside Pick-up scheduled for: <br />• Saturday, August 22, 2020 (forTue/Wed customers) <br />• Saturday, August 29, 2020 (forThur/Fri customers) <br />Republic Customers may leave up to 5 bulk items <br />curbside for collection. Items must be out by 7:00 am <br />in street/gutter area. Customers whose carts are col- <br />lected in an alley, should leave bulk items in the street/ <br />gutter area (not in the alley). <br />Bulk items are defined as items put out for curbside <br />collection that are not in a container and do not fit in <br />a 32-gallon cart (up to 5 items).
