cityO <br />6 f <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Open Space Advisory Board Meeting Minutes <br />Wednesday September 9, 2020, 7:00pm <br />Electronic Meeting <br />Call to Order <br />Helen called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />2. Roll Call <br />Board Members Present: Helen Moshak, Laura Scott Denton, Tom Neville, Charles <br />Danforth, Peter Gowen, David Blankinship, Missy Davis, Jessamine Fitzpatrick <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull, Nathan Mosley <br />3. Approval of Agenda <br />Peter moved to approve the agenda as written. Charles seconded the motion. The <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />4. Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes <br />Peter had a comment on the previous meeting's minutes. He asked that we strike the <br />second "second" referring to the ranger in the staff updates section since there will no <br />longer be a second ranger position. Peter moved to approve the minutes as written with <br />his edit. Jessamine seconded. The motion passed unanimously. <br />5. Staff Updates— Ember <br />A. See updates provided by Ember on page 20 of the September 9, 2020 OSAB <br />Meeting packet. <br />B. Nathan alerted the Board that he received a letter from a resident who has a <br />crusher fine path from their back fence to Harper Lake who has asked for an <br />exception to the City's encroachment rules. Nathan told the resident that an <br />improved trail was a violation of encroachment code for the City and needed to <br />be removed. Peter said that he agreed with Nathan's action. Nathan added that <br />the rangers are seeing more encroachment violations this summer. <br />C. Peter asked for follow up on the Coyote Run encroachment issue on page 25 of <br />the packet. Ember said that the homeowner has been asked to remove the <br />material without a fine, but if the deadline is not met, there will be a summons <br />issued. <br />D. Helen made a plug for the upcoming September weed pull and the excellent job <br />done by Steve at the August weed pull. <br />6. Board Updates <br />A. Peter is glad to see the new Hwy 42 underpass done and has used it many <br />times.
