LL• <br />Lolsville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, September 25, 2020 <br />(Rescheduled Regular Electronic Meeting) <br />Call to Order: Councilmember Dickinson (Chair) called the electronic meeting <br />to order at 1:30 PM. <br />II. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: <br />Councilmember Dickinson, Mayor Stolzmann, and Mayor Pro Tern Maloney. <br />Also present were City Manager Heather Balser, Economic Vitality Director <br />Megan Pierce, and two members of the public. <br />III. Approval of Agenda: Mayor Pro Tern Maloney made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as presented; motion was seconded by Chair Dickinson. Motion <br />passed. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Mayor Pro Tern Maloney made a motion to <br />approve the meeting minutes of August 18, 2020 and September 1, 2020 as <br />presented; motion was seconded by Mayor Stolzmann. Motion passed. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: None. <br />VI. Discussion/Direction- Economic Vitality Strategic Plan Next Steps: Chair <br />Dickinson asked Director Pierce to review the packet materials on the Strategic <br />Plan and facilitate the discussion on next steps. <br />First, the Committee discussed the ordering of the Strategic Goals, including <br />the particular order of the first three. All agreed that these three goals were of <br />"High" priority and that they would reflect further on the order as Supporting <br />Actions were discussed. The fourth and fifth goals were both assigned a <br />"Medium" priority. <br />Next, the Committee and Director Pierce discussed the proposed Key <br />Performance Indicators (KPIs), which were drawn from the Economic Prosperity <br />Program. For the goal relating to business climate, Mayor Pro Tern Maloney <br />inquired if one measure was sufficient. Mayor Stolzmann noted that such an <br />internal measure also does not reflect people that may have a negative <br />experience and not decide to locate in Louisville.
