Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: August 27, 2001 <br /> <br />Members discussed the testimony offered by Mr. Lorenzi and Mr. Niffenegger and whether the <br />matter should be continued to the next meeting when the two remaining officers could be present. <br /> <br />Member Sackett moved to continue the Corporate Report of Changes for the American Legion Post <br />#0111, Club Liquor License, 1150 Pine Street to the next regularly scheduled meeting September 17, <br />2001 at 7:00 p.m., at City Hall, 749 Main Street, Louisville, CO. Member Koertje seconded the <br />motion. Roll Call Vote: Lipton - yes, Jeffers - yes, Sackett - yes, IGmmett - abstained, Koertje - <br />yes. By a vote of 4-1, motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. SECRETARY'S REPORT <br /> <br />A. Third Quarter Liquor Training Attendance <br /> <br />City Clerk Nancy Varra stated that the attendance roster for both July liquor training sessions were <br />contained in member packets. <br /> <br />B. "Louisville I2quor Lore" Newsletter - review/discussion <br /> <br />Varra reviewed with members a proposed liquor newsletter, a sample of which was contained in the <br />member packets. Varra stated that upon approval by the Authority, the newsletter would be <br />forwarded to the City Administrator for final acceptance. <br /> <br />Member Jeffers stated that the phone number for the Louisville Police Department should be added <br />and Member Sackett questioned whether the penalty guidelines should be included. <br /> <br />The concept of the newsletter received the unanimous consent of the Authority. <br /> <br />C. Local Licensing Authority Orientation Manual - review/discussion <br /> <br />City Clerk Varra stated that Deputy City Clerk Bolte has prepared an Authority Member Orientation <br />Manual for the review and comments of the members. Varra summarized the contents of the <br />manual and stated that only one book had been prepared at this time and that members could <br />review the manual at their convenience. <br /> <br />IX. AUTHORITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />Authority Attorney Harrington stated that the hearing on the renewal application for Holly & Mike's <br />Ribs, Inc., d/b/a Hickory Sticks has been scheduled for October. This is due to the fact that there <br />are no Special Prosecutors available to represent the City at a hearing in September. <br /> <br />X. AUTHORITY COMMENTS <br /> <br />Member Jeffers stated that Kaddy Shack has re-opened in Lafayette and that the facility is quite nice. <br />Jeffers stated that it was a shame Louisville lost the opportunity to keep them in the City. <br />XI. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Being no further business, Member Kimmett moved for adjournment at 9:05 p.m. Member Sackett <br />seconded the motion.
