Approval of Special Meeting September 29, 2020 <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />Mayor Stolzmann thanked the residents that helped clean up recent park vandalism. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />Deputy City Manager Davis reminded everyone of the Community Conversation on Racial <br />Equity taking place tomorrow and invited everyone to attend. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1800, SERIES 2020 — AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A SECOND <br />AMENDMENT TO THE ST. LOUIS PARISH AND COMMERCIAL PARK GENERAL <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN TO AMEND ALLOWED USES AND DEVELOPMENT <br />STANDARDS — 2nd READING, PUBLIC HEARING (advertised Daily Camera 9/6/20) <br />Mayor Stolzmann introduced the item and asked for any disclosures. Councilmember <br />Fahey stated she is a member of the St. Louis Parish but feels that will not affect her <br />decision making on this process. <br />Planner Ritchie stated this is a request to amend this site's General Development Plan's <br />allowed uses and development standards; it would also amend the PCZD agreement for <br />the property. She reviewed the location and history of the property. The applicant is <br />proposing the following: <br />• Amending use areas to align with existing property lines <br />• Allowing portions of Zone 1 to develop with Zone 2 uses <br />• Adding Light Industrial to Zone 2 as a use by right <br />• Adding Car Wash as a special review use <br />• Amending FAR zones to a two -tiered system rather than three -tiered <br />• Revising the street network from public to private <br />• Reducing the building setback to 55' from 60' <br />
