Caleb Dickinson <br />Councilmember Deborah Fahey <br />Councilmember Chris Leh <br />Councilmember Jeff Lipton <br />Staff Present: Heather Balser, City Manager <br />Megan Davis, Deputy City Manager <br />Megan Pierce, Economic Vitality Director <br />Emily Hogan, Assistant City Manager for Communications <br />& Special Projects <br />Katie Baum, Sustainability Specialist <br />Meredyth Muth, City Clerk <br />Mayor Stolzmann noted that because of the COVID-19 emergency the meeting is being <br />held electronically. She gave information on how the meeting process will work and <br />directions for those dialing in on how to participate when it is time for public comments. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 64, SERIES 2020 — A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUSINESS <br />ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE COPLEX, LLC FOR AN ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT PROJECT IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />Director Pierce stated this Business Assistance Package (BAP) request is for a new <br />business seeking to construct a sports complex to serve club activities (volleyball and <br />basketball) and other regional sport needs. The owners have a long history and <br />investment in the club sports world and are evaluating space in the Colorado Technology <br />Center (CTC) and have also considered space in Lafayette and Broomfield. <br />The company plans to pursue a build -to -suit development of a 23,000 square foot facility, <br />with construction value of $4.1 to $4.3 million. They will invest in significant fixtures and <br />equipment to create volleyball and basketball courts as well as flexible sports space.
