General Fund Revenues <br />Sales Tax - The largest single source of <br />revenue for the general fund is sales tax. The <br />collection of sales tax is allocated to three city <br />funds with 53.5% of the total sales tax generated <br />by the 3% allocated to the general fund. For fiscal year 2004, 3% of the 3.375% auto <br />use tax is budgeted in the general fund for a total <br />of $1,015,000.
