City0 <br />f <br />'6Louisville Cultural Council Meeting Minutes <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Thursday, October 15, 2020 <br />Virtual Meeting <br />5:30 PM <br />We promote arts and culture in Louisville. We program cultural events, <br />advocate for and support artists, and advise City Council. By doing so <br />we engage our diverse social, cultural, and creative community. <br />This meeting will be held electronically. Residents interested in listening to the meeting should visit <br />the City's website here to link to the meeting: <br />https://www.louisvilleco.ciov/government/boards-commissions/cultural-council <br />The Council will accommodate public comments as much as possible during the meeting. Anyone <br />may also email comments to the Council prior to the meeting at KZoss(@LouisvilleCO.gov. <br />Call to Order <br />11. Roll Call <br />Present: Adam Sloat, Robby Pitt (joined at 5:36), Leah Franks, Debbie Davies, <br />Mark Cathcart, Kim Poletti, Kate Ward, Tami Owen, Katie Zoss <br />Absent: Beth McLennan, <br />111. Approval of Today's Agenda, Kim approves, Debbie seconds <br />V. Public Comments: Items Not on the Agenda - Deb Fahey, Roots of injustice <br />presentation at the library was very informative and sponsored by the LCC. <br />V. Correction and/or Approval of August Meeting Minutes -Leah approves, <br />Debbie seconds <br />VI. Chair's Report (Adam) - None <br />VII. Staff Report and Budget Update (Katie) - City is keeping an eye on Covid <br />numbers in Boulder County, Street closures are extended through October, <br />barricades will be removed on November 2nd. Regarding Halloween, the <br />city is working with the chamber and Ascent to distribute candy in a safe <br />manor. 1300 can attend over the course of the day and are encouraged to <br />decorate cars. Mark asked about the budget process for 2021, no new <br />information available at this time. Mark, Laeh, Kate term for the LCC expires <br />this year and they are welcome to reapply.
